Hi, welcome to WriteClub.
WriteClub – networking for writers in Brighton and London
WriteClub gives professional writers, enthusiastic amateurs and related professionals a place to meet.
WriteClub is a very open group (that means that everyone is welcome) with no agenda, no format and no plan. WriteClub is just a way for writers and non-writers to meet each other in a friendly, relaxed setting.
There are three kinds of WriteClub meetings – designed to offer all of Brighton and London’s working writers a chance to get out and meet their peers. If neither of these meetings are suitable for you, join the WriteClub Google Group and let us know when you would prefer to meet.
WriteClub (morning)
A cafe-based meeting that starts at 8:30 AM.
WriteClub (night)
A pub-based meeting that starts at 8:00 PM.
WriteClub (London)
A pub-based meeting that starts at 7:30 PM.
For full details of WriteClub meetings see When?, or Where? for locations.
Join the WriteClub Google Group
Join the WriteClub Google Group to get emails from other members and to find out about new meetings. You can also use the group to ask questions or to tell members about your happenings (but please don’t spam the list).
Add your blog to Write-Club.net
The blog page on this website is an aggregation of other blogs. This means that if you come to WriteClub (the real-world meet-ups) and would like your blog posts to appear on write-club.net, ask Leif (leif@kendallcopywriting.co.uk) to add your RSS feed – they will then be magically sucked over to this website (and linked back to your site).
WriteClub was inspired by…
WriteClub was set up to encourage working writers (and non-working non-writers) to meet, mingle and get better acquainted. The format of the meetings was inspired by/stolen from: The Farm – a very friendly networking group for Brighton’s New Media freelancers and Likemind Brighton – a casual collective of likeminded people who do interesting things.
